Email deliverability simply measures how well you are able to deliver emails to the subscribers’ inbox. Without the proper setup, your chances of ending in the ‘Inbox’ decrease depending on the frequency of your emails, the content, quality of the subscribers in your list and if you’re on any SPAM lists.
So how do you ensure you have good deliverability? Start with a list of subscribers who have ‘opted-in’ to your list. Never purchase lists. Second, provide valuable and relevant content to your subscribers. Third, offer a simple and easy way for them to ‘unsubscribe’ from your list. Finally setup your email deliverability best practices (SPF, DKIM and DMARC) records.
It is illegal to manually add customer or potential customer email into your email marketing platform unless they’ve opted in themselves.
